ATTITUDE OF PERFECTION

Once there was a swamiji, who was on a journey with his disciples. As darkness approached he called for the rest and announced that he will bake chappatis that night.
The disciples were thrilled for they had never seen their guru baking chappatis.Wood was cut,a fire started, dough was kneaded and swamiji was raedy to bake chappatis on the tawa. The first one was a complete failure with the chappati being burnt. When he tried to take it off the tawa it broke into hundred pieces. But swamiji was totally satisfied with his work and said , “perfect”.This surprised the brood of disciples. Then at the second attempt the chappati turned out triangular with holes and edges were burnt. When he scrapped it off the tawa he again uttered “perfect”.
The disciples were even more surprised .The third one turned out to be square and that too broke into many pieces. He had to literally shovel the pieces off the tawa, and he again said “perfect”.By this time ,one of them was ready to pull his hair out.He blurted,”Swamiji, why are you making a fool out of us? Not even one chappati is round ,yet you call them all perfect.”
Swamiji smiled and said, “I was waiting for you to ask me this question. You see,you could not have eaten the dry flour, you would have choked on it.You couldn’t have eaten the wet dough. It would have got stuck in your throats. To prevent you all from going to sleep hungry,I had to bake it.That is what I have done.Who said that for a chappati to be perfect,it has to be round?
Perfection is only your perception of things.”

In Gods world ,everything is perfect. It is only one perception of how things should be that makes it imperfect.
